The new movie of Vijay is not titled yet. So, this movie title is called as Vijay 58 by the media and the fans. Vijay plays double roles with Shruti Haasan and Hansika playing the lead lady roles. In one role, Vijay plays a commander-in-chief for Haniska. And Hansika plays a role of a princess in this film. In the other role, Vijay plays with and Shruti Haasan is paired with him.
Sridevi and Kicha Sudeep play pivotal roles in the film. Sridevi does a queen role in Vijay 58 and it is her comeback film in Tamil.

The movie is a semi fantasy drama. The Movie is Produced by Shibu Thameens andP.T.Selvakumar. And the music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.Shooting for Vijay 58 started on November 12th,2014. The first schedule of shooting lasted for 50 days. A grand song and few action sequences were shot at the first schedule of shooting.At present, Vijay 58 shooting is going on at "Pannayur" in the outskirts of Chennai. And the group of vijay 58 movie is that the film shooting will be finished by April 2015. He added the filming is going on at a brisk pace and it is gearing up for the big summer release.

And the group of movie Makers was announced the news from the film’s unit said that the release date for the first look of Vijay 58 along with the official title of the movie has been confirmed. The statement says the first look and the title of Vijay 58 will be released for Pongal 2015.
